Julie Affeldt
Julie joined the Founders team back in 1996 right after graduating from Virginia Tech. Her Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design, with an emphasis in Kitchen and Bath Design, provided her with a great foundation. She came on board as a Design Administrator and for years served as an invaluable support to many of our top salespeople. She made a flawless transition into sales in the year 2001 and has worked with most of our largest builder accounts over the years. Julie is a versatile designer that can accommodate any size or type of project. She is well respected by her customers and her peers, as she possesses the perfect combination of personality, professionalism, and talent.
Chris Shafer
Chris is a graduate of The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he received his Bachelor of Arts degree in 1995. He joined the Founders team back in 1997 where he began his career as a vital part of our Operations Department. He quickly proved that he had what it took to join our Sales and Design team and became a valuable asset to several of our salespeople. In 2001, he transitioned from the office into the field and has been one of our top salespeople every since. Chris has broken several sales records on numerous occasions throughout the years. His professional and no-nonsense approach to business are traits that have fostered loyal and long lasting customer relationships.
Sarah Price
Sarah graduated, in 1995, from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Family and Consumer Sciences. She came on board to Founders in 1998 and brought the experience that made her a great fit into the Operations Department. She served as the Installation Manager for three years and in 2003 moved her talents out into the field. Sarah’s versatile design skills allow her to have a wide range of customers. She has designed kitchens from multi-family units to high end remodels. Sarah provides exceptional personal attention to all of her clients which has resulted in several “accolades” from our customers.
Steve Morton
Steve was recruited to join Founders’ Sales and Design Team in 2014 because of his reputation in the kitchen cabinet industry. With over 30 years of experience in commercial accounts, new home construction and remodeling; his expertise in cabinetry has gained him enormous respect among construction professionals throughout metro Atlanta.
Steve was born in St. Charles, Missouri; but raised in Palatka, Florida. In 1978, he moved to Atlanta to attend technical school. He now resides in Marietta, Georgia with his wife, Jodie, and daughter, Sarah. His interest for the business started as a part-time installer with American Woodmark in the 1980’s, while also working for the United Parcel Service. UPS proved to be a catalyst for his strong work ethic and desire to become a successful entrepreneur. Steve catapulted his career as an independent contractor in cabinetry sales, design and project management. Then in 2001 Steve started working primarily for Kastle Lake Kitchen and Bath, and by 2006 he proved to be instrumental in making them a thriving company. Steve’s success is based on unyielding dedication to customer service and believes that “It is imperative to be a positive aspect to a client’s needs and construction schedule for a project to be successful.” In his off-time, Steve enjoys football, baseball, boating and traveling with his family.
Jason Whitman
Jason started with Founders Kitchen back in 1996 and literally learned the “ins and outs” of our business from the ground up. He started by working in our warehouse and making jobsite deliveries; however, his drive and desire to learn, provided him with a swift transition into the office. After serving as the Customer Service Manager and a Design Administrator, he went into sales in 2003. That year he received the “Rookie Salesperson of the Year” award and joined the multi-family division. In 2004, he was named the overall “Salesperson of the Year” and in 2006 he was awarded “Employee of the Year”. Jason’s optimism and ability to create and foster professional relationships has made him the top salesperson in our company.

OUR HISTORY
Since 1988, Founders Kitchen and Bath, Inc. has been providing high quality cabinetry and exceptional service to customers in Georgia. Billy Reeves Jr. and Robbie Baron co-founded the company (which was formally known as Canac Kitchens of Georgia, Inc). Their first showroom was located in Miami Circle in Buckhead and as their business and clientele grew, it was necessary to expand their space. In 1996, they built a new 42,000 square foot facility in Alpharetta and moved there where they were in close proximity to the rapidly growing metro area. The facility includes a beautiful 3,000 square foot showroom, 10,000 square feet of uniquely decorated office space and 29,000 square feet of multi-functional warehouse space.
Since their introduction into the market, Billy Reeves Jr. and Robbie Baron have been a major presence in the Atlanta cabinetry business. They have a reputation for being innovative, competitive and committed to providing the best customer service in the industry. Through the years, Billy and Robbie have successfully expanded their company to provide quality products to a diverse group of consumers. They are truly devoted to making all of their customers happy and are always personally accessible to every one of them. Their “hands on” approach and “open door” policy have been a huge part of the company’s success.

We can connect you with reliable suppliers for your countertops, tile, floors, appliances, accessories and more. Our extensive experience provides us with the understanding of how other trades operate during the construction process which allows us to maintain as smooth of a transition as possible. At Founders Kitchen and Bath, we offer assistance with all of your new construction, remodeling or renovating needs.
We have a long history of working with builders and providing individual attention to their assortment of needs, including professional design assistance, samples for design centers, displays and model homes, including specifications for standard features for each individual neighborhood. In addition, our designers understand the desire for accuracy, professionalism and outstanding customer service when representing the builder to the client.
Each customer receives personal attention in our beautiful, one-of-a-kind showroom with one of our dedicated design staff. The designers at Founders Kitchen and Bath, with over 150 years of combined experience, are the most trusted in the industry for professional design and exceptional service to deliver the “kitchen of your dreams”!
